We perform line maintenance for SAAB 2000, SAAB 340, and Fokker 100 at our line stations in Timisoara, Cluj-Napoca and Chisinau.
We perform pre-flight check, daily check, weekly check, “A“-check, component replacement including engines, propellers, troubleshooting and defect rectification, minor modifications and applicable AD (Airworthiness Directives) notes, specialized inspections, minor “on-wing” work.
Base Maintenance
We perform heavy maintenance in Timisoara, at our home base.
Our Base maintenance department consists of licensed engineers, sheet metal staff, NDT staff, avionic engineers, interior mechanics and component shops such as battery shop, brake and wheel shop.
We perform all inspections, including “C”-checks (every 4000 flight hours), routine and non-routine maintenance, as well as additional work packages (service bulletins, AD notes, etc.) which are performed within the shortest time possible and to the highest aviation industry standards.
Component maintenance
We offer component maintenance work at our home base in Timisoara.
Category C16 Propellers;
Category C5 Batteries;
Category C14 Landing Gear (tire change).
Engineering and Planning Services
Carpatair engineering and planning office is located in Timisoara.
Our engineers provide full assistance to the Line and Base Maintenance departments in order to ensure the highest quality within minimum ground time.
Our Engineering services include but are not limited to the following activities:
Customizing maintenance programs, taking into account the national regulations and requirements
Evaluation of AD notes /Service Bulletins
Engine trend monitoring and quality assurance
Participation in the manufacturer’s reliability programs
Collection and analysis of the maintenance data for various statistics
Liaison with manufacturers for different kinds of technical problems
Our short- and long-time Planning services consist of:
Control of all scheduled checks and deferred defects
Tracking of all life limited parts and airworthiness limitations parts
Planning and controlling of AD notes/Service bulletins and modifications
Prepare and issue work orders and work packages based on the maintenance forecast
All the above-mentioned activities are administered and controlled by AMOS (Aircraft Maintenance and Engineering System) software.
The computerized system AMOS is valuable software providing the complex maintenance, engineering and logistic requirements of the aviation industry.
