Flight Data Monitoring System (FDM), based on Flightscape software

In order to have full control over flight monitoring, in 2004 our company successfully implemented a
Flight Data Monitoring System (FDM), based on Flightscape software that is currently used by the world’s leading flight data analysts and accident investigators.
Flightscape is a flight safety company, providing expertise in flight recorder playback, analysis and flight sciences. It develops software tools that enable the effective study and understanding of recorded flight data to improve safety, maintenance and flight operations.

Realizing the potential benefits of applying practical flight data analysis principles from the investigation of major accidents to routine flight data analysis programs, the acquisition of Flightscape’s ‘Insight’ tools enhanced our position as a leading regional carrier when it comes to safety initiatives and safety programs.
More leading airlines choose Flightscape products and services today and it is considered the premier venue for exchanging flight data expertise.
IATA Operational Safety Audit Certification (IOSA)

Our company was the first Romanian airline to be awarded
IOSA certification by IATA in 2005 and our image boosted with the successful renewal of IOSA registration in January 2007 and every 2 years from then on. This audit has acknowledged our company’s full compliance with the highest international standards and regulations, a competence previously confirmed by the country’s full access to Joint Aviation Authorities (JAA), the European Civil Aviation standards entity and the subsequent assignment of JAR-OPS 1 (currently EU-OPS 1) Operator status to Carpatair.
Launched in 2003, the IATA Operational Safety Audit (IOSA) Program is an internationally recognized and approved evaluation system, in fact the only airline standard acknowledged worldwide for airline safety management, designed to assess the operational management and control systems of an airline in order to keep the highest safety standards.
An IOSA registration is valid for two years, after which a recurrent audit is required to ensure ongoing compliance with the IATA standards.
The departments subjected to the audit are Corporate Organization & Management System, Flight Operations, Flight Dispatch, Aircraft Engineering & Maintenance, Cabin Operations, Ground Handling, Cargo Operations, and Operational Security.
To conclude, these achievements have come as a result of our dedicated efforts to continuously enhance our standards of quality and safety in all fields of civil aviation.
Our company positively places itself amongst the leading regional airlines, proving its commitment to operational safety and efficiency.
