CHECK-IN

As a general rule, check-in opens 2 hours before and closes 45 minutes before the flight estimated departure in case of international flights; in case of domestic flihgts, check-in opens 90 minutes before and closes 30 minutes before the flight estimated departure. Read more about Check-in

ACCESS

By car

The airport is located in the northeast part of Timisoara, at 12-km distance from the city center, near Giarmata-Vii village. Access to the airport is possible from the European road E70.

By bus

The Express Bus number E4 connects the city center (Punctele Cardinale) with the Airport every hour.

TAXI

Taxis are available at the airport, on request. The approximate price to the city center is 25-30 Lei (7-8 Euro).

PARKING

The airport offers two parking areas: P1 and P2. The first 15 minutes are free of charge, then prices differ as follows:

Parking 1: 1 hour costs 4 Lei; 6 hours 24 Lei, 12 hours 48 Lei; 24 hours 96 Lei.

Parking 2: 1 hour costs 2 Lei; 6 hours 12 Lei, 12 hours 24 Lei; 24 hours 48 Lei.

For a longer period of time, special prices apply: 200 Lei for 7 days in P1 and 100 Lei in P2.

CAR RENTAL

Several international rent-a-car companies offer their services upon request in the airport.
