CARPATAIR - Fare types and conditions - Flight Reservation and Ticket Purchase

Before buying a ticket, please make sure you choose the one that best suites you in terms of validity, class of service, discounts, changing or cancelling possibilities.

Carpatair tickets have 1 year validity, but different restrictions apply depending on the class of service booked. For example, some tickets cannot be changed or refunded.

In case passenger does not travel according to the issued ticket, reimbursement of unused airport taxes and other charges shall be effected according to fare rules within 12 months from the date of travel indicated in the ticket. Should the passenger fail to make such a request for reimbursement of unused taxes and charges within the above mentioned time frame we reserve the right not process the reimbursement request anymore.

Changes are subject to availability. Changes fees are charged per fare component. Additional taxes and fare difference might be applicable, depending on booking class available or if the new route involves a higher fare.

All our fares are one-way fares, so they can be easily combined.

We offer business and economy class air travel.

Reservation can be made approximately 1 year in advance.

We offer a discount of up to 33% from an adult fare for accompanied children between 2-12 years old, depending on the fare. For some of the fares there is no discount for accompanied children between 2-12 years old. For infants between 0-2 years there is a fixe fare of EUR 5.00 plus the fuel surcharge YQ to be paid.

Please note that infants do not have their own seat on the airplane, as they will be held by their parents. An adult can accompany a maximum of 2 children or 1 child and 1 infant. For unaccompanied children (5 to 12 years old), the full adult fare shall be charged.

The total price of a ticket consists of the basic fare of the flight, airport taxes and service fee.
Airport taxes are not retained by airlines and their fluctuations do not depend on the airline but the airports involved.*

Cancellation/Refund:	Tickets can be refunded at any time against a refund fee of EUR 50.00 per directon. The ticket for infant is not refundable. YQ fuel surcharge tax is not refundable.
Change of date/route:	Date of travel and route can be changed before date of travel written on the ticket against a change fee of EUR 25.00 per direction. If the change is done during or after the date of travel a change fee of EUR 50.00 per direction applies. For infant it is free of charge. Ticket validity:	Tickets are valid for 12 (twelve) months from the date of travel written on the ticket.
Child/Infant Discounts:	Children (between 2 and 12 years old) shall pay 67% of the adult fare. Infants (under 2 years old) without a seat shall pay 10% of the adult fare.
Cancellation/Refund:	Tickets can be refunded at any time against a refund fee of EUR 75.00 per direction. Child discount apply to refund fee.
Change of date/route:	Date of travel can be changed before the date of travel against a change fee of EUR 15.00 per direction and after date of travel against a change fee of EUR 50.00 per direction. Rebooking allowed against additional collection of resulting fare difference if any. Change of route is not permitted.
No show tickets:	In case the passenger missed the flight, the ticket can be reused against a fee of EUR 50.00 per direction.
