How to earn Green Points?

Carpatair has chosen a simple and user friendly frequent flyer scheme – Carpatair Green Club. For each Carpatair flight, club members are awarded with a number of Green Points, depending on the fare paid on each segment flown.

The higher the price of your ticket, the bigger the number of earned points. These points will be automatically transferred into your account from the profile you create on the Carpatair website, after a minimum of 7 days has passed since the date of your flight.

You get points for flying only Carpatair, but you earn Green Points for tickets no matter if they are bought online at www.carpatair.com, purchased via Carpatair Call Center or bought from your travel agent. In case you do not buy your ticket via the website but use any other method, you need to introduce the ticket into your profile in order to earn your Green Points for all the Carpatair tickets. The only exception refers to certain promotional prices that are not included in this program. When calculating the number of earned points, you have to consider only the price of the tickets bought and used, without the airport taxes or fees.

How to spend Green Points?

It is just as simple to use your points and obtain free flights with Carpatair. You can automatically use your earned points to pay for your tickets, during the usual booking procedure.

If you have earned enough points to fully cover the price of the tickets you book, you can also choose to pay with these points. It‘s up to you to decide whether you pay for your ticket and keep your points for the next transaction, or use your points to pay for your current trip. In case you have not accumulated enough points, i.e. their value does not fully cover the price of the tickets, the Green Points payment option will not be displayed during the booking process. The system only considers the price of the ticket you buy, without including any airport taxes or other taxes in connection with your booking. The system will automatically display the sum covered by your Green Points and the sum that you need to pay by credit /debit card.

To be able to use the option and pay for your tickets using your Green Points, you need to book your tickets after you have logged on your individual profile. If, nevertheless, you decide to pay for your tickets using your credit card and accumulate more Green Points, it’s best to be logged on when you book your tickets. This way, the tickets that you book will be automatically recorded onto your individual account, and you will earn the corresponding Green Points after having completed your trip. As a member, you can check the situation of your points any time by accessing your profile on the Carpatair website. Your completed flights and the number of Green Points that you have accumulated for each of them will be displayed automatically. On the same page, you can also see the tickets purchased with Green Points, as well as the tickets purchased but still not used. You can spend the points you have earned for your account by also booking tickets for other people, including family members and friends. This way, you can always surprise your loved ones with a ticket on the Carpatair routes, which you can purchase with your points.

You start accumulating Green Points as soon as you create your online account and start buying tickets. If you already have an account, the only thing you need to do is choose your destination. (No members are accepted under the age of 18).

All points that you earn are valid 24 months from the date of your flight. The expiry date for your points will be mentioned in your account as soon as the respective points will have been allocated. The validity is calculated considering the date of each flight.

In order to reward your loyalty, Carpatair has also chosen to award points for tickets purchased and used prior to the launching date of Frequent Flyer Program. This means that all tickets used for the Carpatair flights since the beginning of 2010 can be used to obtain this bonus.

Green Club Cards

Carpatair rewards you with gift-tickets in exchange for the Green Points you have accumulated, but also with the Green Club member categories. As debutant members, you collect your points on a Green Club Card.

You can further become a Premium or a VIP member by accumulating more Green Points after more flights with Carpatair. The more Green Points you get, the more important your membership category becomes, generating increasingly attractive benefits.

Each level has its own Green Club Card, providing its users with access to preferential services available to members only.

The Green Club Card proves the client is a member of the Green Club. Once you have such a card, you get Green Points as a bonus.

The Green Club Premium Card provides additional benefits, such as its holder’s priority at check-in. Moreover, you can add 5 kg more to the free baggage allowance, free of charge. You get a number of Green Points as a welcome gift for new Premium

members. You also get a 15% discount from the agency fee, for tourist packages purchased from our Air Service partners.

The Green Club VIP Card grants you the status of a VIP. Apart from having priority at check-in, you are allowed an additional 10 kg over the free baggage allowance, free of charge. You also get bonus Green Points upon becoming a VIP member. You have free access to the Business Lounge on the “Traian Vuia” Timisoara Airport. If you choose to use the services of our Air Service partners to organize your holiday, you get a 25% discount from the agency fee, for any tourist offer you choose.

Once you have become a Green Club member by creating a profile on the www.carpatair.com website, as soon as you buy a ticket for a Carpatair flight, even if you still have not completed that flight, you can fill in the Green Club Card form. Your order will be processed as soon as you complete the form and send it by e-mail to GreenClub@carpatair.com. We will send you your Green Club card within 4 weeks from the date of receiving your application, including your full personal information.

We will constantly update and upgrade the level of service and will keep you informed whenever new features will be added to the Green Club tier levels and cards.
