General Terms and Conditions of the Carpatair Green Club Frequent Flyer Program

1. GENERAL

Carpatair Green Club is an online loyalty program for the frequent flyers of Carpatair, a company incorporated in Romania, having its registered office at no. 2, Aeroport Street, Ghiroda Commune, Timis County, 307210, Romania. Carpatair is a registered word and device trade mark.

2. MEMBERSHIP

To join Carpatair Green Club customer must:

be aged 18 years or over
be a registered member or create a profile

Green Club membership is available for individuals. Multiple membership (for legal entities, groups or associations) is not permitted.

3. PROGRAM

Green Points credited to members under the terms of this program can be used to create redemption (award) bookings. The granting of these points is subject to continuation of the program. Bonus points or miles from other loyalty programs will not be accepted, this is for Carpatair tickets only.

Online bookings are automatically registered for Green Points provided that the customer is logged into his profile at the time of booking. Offline bookings can be registered using the ticket number or Web Reference number (ITD number).

Green Points are allocated based on fare ranges per flown segment. The higher the value of the net fare, the more points you will earn. All Carpatair fares qualify for Green Points allocation. The number of Green Points credited depends on the program conditions valid at the time of utilization of the service.

In case of flight cancellations due to factors beyond Carpatair control, including but not limited to weather conditions, labour disputes, or security / technical reasons, the member will not be granted Green Points. However, if the member has been rerouted on another Carpatair flight, the member will earn Green Points for the route flown on Carpatair provided that the member has manually added the new ticket in his account.

Redemption is automatically offered to a registered user as part of the booking process.

Carpatair will evaluate offering additional benefits in the future, other than award tickets.

GREEN CLUB LOYALTY SUMMARY

Each member has a personal account, to which points can be credited and subsequently debited when redeemed by the member. Members can easily consult their account by entering their profile. An overview of all claimed and redeemed tickets will be displayed. The current number of correctly claimed points is shown at the top of that page.

VALIDITY

Unless otherwise specified in the program or at the time of credit, points can be claimed and earned up to one month after the flight date.

All points earned are valid for 24 months from the date of the flight for which they have been allocated. Green Points that have not been spent by then will expire. The expiry date of allocated Green Points can easily be checked by entering the loyalty summary Green Club under My profile.

It is not possible to extend the validity of points earned and it is up to the member to check the expiration date of his Green Points.

4. REGISTERING CLAIMS FOR POINTS

There are three distinct ways in which a customer can register a claim for points with Green Club.

A period of minimum seven days after the flight is required before points will be allocated to member account. Once successfully registered, the points claimed will be displayed on the loyalty summary page.

4.1. Automatic points registration

Online bookings will automatically be registered for Green Points after making a booking.

The user must be logged on at the time of booking.
The name of the registered user must match the name of the booker. This ensures that member can only claim points for himself/herself.
Bookings made with redemption points are not eligible for collecting more points.
Only the main passenger (who is the same person as the registered user) will have his/her points claimed automatically. All other travellers can use the process described in section 4.2/4.3

4.2. Register an online booking

Automatic registration (section 4.1) only applies for the main passenger, and only if he/she is logged on as him/herself at the time of booking. For all other cases of online bookings, this process or that described in 4.3 must be followed.

The customer must click on the Add Booking button under My Profile Green Club page to access the Register Booking page and enter the Web Reference number (ITD) of the booking that they are claiming points for.

The user must be logged on to access the Register Booking page.
The internet reference number (ITD) must be valid.
The name of the registered user must match one of those in the booking. This ensures that member can only claim points for himself/herself.
Bookings made with redemption points are not eligible for collecting more points.
The internet reference number (ITD) of the booking is checked to see whether points have already been claimed for.
Important! Registering the claim for points must be made within 30 days from the date of flight.

4.3. Register a ticket number

Green Club supports offline bookings. Points for offline bookings can be claimed by entering the ticket number. Only the 10 digits of the ticket number are required.

Customer must go to the Register Booking page and enter the ticket number of the booking that he/she is claiming points for.

The customer must be logged on to access the Register Booking page.
The ticket number must be numeric, exactly 10 digits in length.
Important! Registering the claim for points must be made within 30 days from the date of flight.

The member must actually travel to earn Green Points. Points will not be awarded on unused, forfeited, fraudulent, lost, out-of-date or refunded tickets. It is not possible to claim points on MCOs, free tickets, barter tickets, companion tickets, children and infant tickets. Also points cannot be claimed before the start of the Green Club loyalty program.

Carpatair reserves the right to debit the account of any member who acquired points unduly. In addition, Carpatair reserves the right to exclude any member from the membership program if the Terms and Conditions have been breached.

5. POINTS REDEMPTION

Green Points earned may be redeemed on future bookings by the registered user. In order to redeem points, the following conditions apply:

Details of offers and benefits are available on the website, in relevant mailings and via the Carpatair Call Center. Carpatair may specify predetermined terms and conditions for the booking or ordering offers/benefits. Such predetermined terms and conditions can vary with respect to specific orders and benefits.

7. Green Club Award ticket regulations

All taxes relating to award ticket have to be paid in full by the member.
Award ticket is valid only for the date of travel and for the itinerary for which it was originally issued.
Award tickets are not transferable (name change is not allowed).
Change of date / route for the award tickets is not possible.
Award tickets can be booked on every flight and on any Carpatair destination but may be subject to black out periods.

8. Privacy

Carpatair respects its customers’ privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information that they share with us. Generally, customers can browse through our website without giving us any information about them. When we do need our customers’ personal information to provide services that they request or when they choose to provide us with their personal information, this policy describes how we collect and use their personal information.

9. SERVICES/ACCESS TO CARPATAIR GREEN CLUB MEMBERS

The only access to Carpatair Green Club is via the Carpatair website. Members only need to register to be able to access the program.
Carpatair reserves the right to change the content of its website at any time without notice.

10. GREEN CLUB CARDS

Carpatair rewards customers with award tickets in exchange for the Green Points they have accumulated, but also with the Green Club Card categories. Each Green Club Card provides its holder with access to preferential services available to members only.

The Green Club Card proves the client is a member of the Green Club. Once the customer has such a card, 25 Green Points shall be credited to the customer account as a bonus.

The Green Club Silver Card provides additional benefits:

priority at check-in

5 kg free baggage allowance on top of the regular one

50 Green Points as a welcome gift for new Silver members

15% discount from the agency fee, for tourist packages purchased from our Air Service partners.

In order to get a Green Club Silver Card the member must accumulate at least 25.000 Green Points.

The Green Club Gold Card provides additional benefits:

priority at check-in
10 kg over the free baggage allowance
100 Green Points upon becoming a Gold member
free access to the Business Lounge on the “Traian Vuia” Timisoara Airport
25% discount from the agency fee, for tourist packages purchased from our Air Service partners

In order to get a Green Club Gold Card the member must accumulate at least 50.000 Green Points.

Once the customer has become a Green Club member by creating a profile on the www.carpatair.com website, and as soon as at least one ticket for a Carpatair flight is purchased, even if that flight has not been completed, customer must fill in the Green Club Card form on our website. Carpatair will process the request and will send the customer his/her Green Club card within 4 weeks from the date of receiving the application, including full personal information.

The Green Club Card is valid for 2 years from the month it was issued.

Upon expiry of the Green Club Card, the level in the program to which a member will be entitled for the next two years will be determined by the number of Green Points accumulated even if used until the expiry of the Green Club Card.

If a member has not earned enough Green Points up to this date to upgrade to Silver or to Gold level, the member will keep the Green Club membership. His Green Club Card will only be reissued if during the validity of his current Green Club Card flight activity has been registered into his account.

If upon expiry of the Green Club Card the member has earned enough Green Points to upgrade to Silver or to Gold level, the member will be issued the Silver card or the Gold Card and for the next two years he/she will enjoy the benefits dedicated to these respective levels. The member must earn another 25000 Green Points in those 2 years to subsequently maintain Silver Level or similarly, 50000 Green Points to maintain Gold Level. If the member has earned no Green Points during these two years or if the member has earned Green Points during these two years but not enough to maintain his current membership level as defined in this current Terms and Conditions, the member will be downgraded to one level lower or if not qualifying, to Green Club Card level.

Any loss or theft of, or damage to, the Green Club Card must be reported to Carpatair Green Club at once to permit issuance of a new card. There is a fee of 10 euro applicable for the issuance of a new card.

11. PARTNERS

Carpatair Green Club may also offer Green Points accrual with specified partner companies. Since Carpatair Green Club has no direct control over these companies, Carpatair can not be held responsible for the unlimited availability of services provided by partner companies (e.g hotel stays, car rentals etc.) and for proper performance of any services rendered by its partner companies. In any case, the general terms and conditions of the specific partner company shall apply.

12. TERMINATION OF CARPATAIR GREEN CLUB MEMBERSHIP

Membership will be automatically terminated in case of termination of the program. Carpatair will apply reasonable effort to give members prior notice of the termination of the Program.

13. Applicable law

To the extent permissible by local law or regulation these Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with Romanian law. Any dispute that may arise out of them shall be submitted to the Timisoara courts.
