CHECK-IN

Check-in desks are located in the Main Terminal (1), number 4 or 5. Carpatair’s handling agent on Florence Airport is AdF (Aeroporto di Firenze).

ACCESS
By car
The airport is located just 4 km northwest of central Florence, between the 'Firenze Nord' exit from the highway and Florence's industrial area, near Prato.
The center of Florence is easy to reach by car, as the airport is situated very close to highways A1 and A11. The journey will take around 15 to 20 minutes.
The airport can be easily reached from Prato (8 km/5 miles), Pistoia (24 km/15 miles), Montecatini (36 km/22 miles), Lucca (65 km/40 miles), Siena (68 km/42 miles), Arezzo (77 km/48 miles) and Pisa (86 km/53 miles).
By bus
The 'Vola in bus' airport shuttle and the bus ATAF no. 62 connect Florence town center, Firenze Santa Maria Novella, with 'Amerigo Vespucci' Airport. Ticket price may vary, depending on the duration of use; the approximate price is 4.50 Euro. The journey takes 30 minutes. There are also good bus connections to Prato, Pistoia, Montecatini-Lucca, Viareggio-La Spezia and Siena.
TAXI
Taxis are available near the Main Arrivals gateway of each Terminal. The journey to the city center takes around 15 minutes. Approximate price is 20 Euro/person.
PARKING
Short-stay car park
The first 20 minutes are free of charge. The first hour or fraction costs 2 Euro and from the second hour or fraction, the parking costs 3 Euro/hour and 25 Euro per day.
Long-stay car park
Up to 5 hours costs 1 Euro/hour; between 6 and 12 hours costs 6 Euro/hour, and daily charge is 10 Euro.
