ACCESS
By car
Sibiu International Airport (or Aeroportul International Sibiu) serves the historic city of Sibiu. It is located in southern Transylvania, about 360 km northwest of Romania's capital, Bucharest. The airport can be reached on DN1 national road. It is only 6 km away from the city center, in the direction of Arad, Deva or Timisoara.
By bus
There are very good bus connections from/to the city. Most of them offer transfer between 5:50 – 23:40.
You can take either one of the following bus numbers: 5, 111, 112, 113, 114, 115, 116, 117 or 118.
TAXI
Taxis can be found in the parking lot in front of the new Terminal. The approximate price to the city center is 10 Lei (3 Euro).
PARKING
A new guarded parking lot of 300 places is available at Sibiu Airport. The first 10 minutes are free of charge, then the prices are the following: 4 lei for 1 hour; 10 lei for 3 hours; 16 lei for 5 hours; 24 lei for 12 hours and 34 Lei for 1 day.
CAR RENTAL
International rent-a-car companies offer their services upon request at the airport.
