Since 2005 Carpatair has been continuously registered as an IOSA operator (IATA Operational Safety Audit) – the globally recognized safety program designed to assess the operations management and control systems of airlines – the industry’s most rigorous safety compliance program. Carpatair is member of the IATA – International Air Transport Association since 2003, and is an air operator and community carrier certified in accordance to EASA Regulations – European Aviation Safety Agency standards.
Carpatair crews and operational personnel are holding EASA licenses. They are trained and examined in accordance to the highest regulatory and industry standards, both, internally and through leading partner organizations. The maintenance system is supported by highly qualified engineers using the industry-leading software solution – AMOS. The Swiss-made “Aircraft Maintenance and Engineering System” is a fully integrated maintenance management platform able to manage complex maintenance, engineering, maintenance tasks, and logistic operations of a modern airline. Initially designed by the engineering department of the famous Swiss regional airline Crossair for internal purposes, AMOS is today a top provider at the global level and is being used by more than 60 airlines/MRO providers worldwide. With its closely interrelated modules administered in one relational database, AMOS covers all maintenance operations of airlines, regardless of size, in line with the strictest standards of civil aviation authorities and manufacturers.
Using a top-of-the-art flight planning system to optimize flight routes, cruise altitudes, and weather conditions, as well as mitigating route restrictions or unexpected airport closures, Carpatair enables its staff with the versatile and industry-leading flight operation software system – AIMS.

SMS (Safety Management System) is the tool in the airline industry implemented by Carpatair in 2014, that provides the framework for operations safety oversight, safety reporting, risk assessments and analysis, etc, all aimed at the continuous improvement of safety performance indicators and the efficiency of operations. It is also implemented in all aircraft maintenance activities and aircraft ground handling operations.
